I have found that Mountain Dew is a good breakfast soda

5/21/2003 >> ben

rave reviews... rave reviews baby... lots of action at this table.

5/21/2003 >> ben

really, i'm only like this when the sql queries are running...

5/21/2003 >> ben

entered = they found a cow that they think has it (at least that they're telling us, anyone watch west wing? scary). no one has died from it yet, as far as i know

5/21/2003 >> ben

that is, from canadian cows... aren't they sacred or something up there?

5/21/2003 >> ben

you know, i was going to say something about people and lactose intolerance, but apprently discretion is the better part of becoming sober... and where the hell is piotr?

5/21/2003 >> ben

stow schmo... i'm not afraid of a cow... that's brian's job. snicker. i really am a mean drunk aren't i?

5/21/2003 >> ben

really though, |Z| liked the monaco shirt, and apparently he's got fashion sense, so props to you and you who picked it out, also beans liked the way that the lines went from blue to white, and she's |Z|'s sister, so she must have inherited something to

o

5/21/2003 >> ben

at this point, a few people have suggested i write something, but i don't know what to write about... ted said just write about my crazy experiences, though i'm pretty sure that's not the way to keep friends and send good messages to minors...

i told cooper and a few others about my idea for a vehicle of a story, but long ago i forgot my theme... perhaps i can find it again somewhere.

other than that... perhaps i can edit my own experiences and someone might pay for them?

5/21/2003 >> ben

bah, who am i kidding, i'm the only one even reading here, hehehe... maybe i can write dime novels, snicker

5/21/2003 >> rich

a vehicle story? as in from the perspective of a vehicle?

5/21/2003 >> ben

no no, as in the vehicle is that which drives the story along, e.g. the vehicle for the matrix would be that the world we believe in is not real, or the vehicle for natural born killers would be that people can be and often are inherently evil.

the vehicle for my proposed story was 2 people sitting in a room talking, with random people visiting them and exiting, 1 at a time

I know... I was just being obnoxious...

I thought NBK was more about how ridiculous the media could be, and the beginning of the movie was just to set that up properly.

5/21/2003 >> ben

it's a good and pointed side note, true... though 15 seconds seemed to press that point more...

not for nothing, but is it me or has the tone of EA changed recently?

5/21/2003 >> ralph

yeah, it's definitely changed.

Politics be gone, thank god.

5/21/2003 >> erato

i second the yay to no-politics postings.

i think it's a dc thing - never have noticed it being so bad anywhere else.

5/21/2003 >> erato

rich, that's also how I interpretated NBK.

over hype and glamorization can trick simple minds into thinking anything is cool - even Nelly and mass murder.

5/21/2003 >> erato

All I'm saying is that i've never heard so many people discuss politics until I moved to dc-area. Even the friggen dc-raves mailing list was a presidential debate.

it was, strange.

5/21/2003 >> erato

i didn't realize there were a lot of cow herds in canada..

5/23/2003 >> erato

you, you're good - you.

LOL
